Charlie Zahm Returning to Hampton UMC for Benefit Concert this coming March 1st

With the Holiday Season upon us as we consider how to celebrate with those, we love here is a suggestion: When the decorations have been put away for another year, and the winter doldrums have begun to set in as we await the return of Spring; treat yourself and others to a night out joining in the joy of live music later in the new year. On Friday, March 1st renowned Celtic balladeer Charlie Zahm will return to the Hampton UMC for a special evening on Friday, March 1st celebrating the Irish traditions of great songs and stories from across the Celtic Lands as well as other favorites in the folk tradition.

The concert is being held at the Hampton United Methodist Church, 525 Lafayette Rd., Hampton, NH on Friday, March 1st, 2024, at 7:30 PM.  Tickets are $20 per person.   Proceeds of this concert will be used to benefit the mission outreach of the Hampton UMC.

Tickets may be purchased through the church’s website here or in the church office and at the door the night of the performance. NOTE: The last day to purchase tickets online is Feb. 26th.

With a baritone voice some have described as “coming along once in a generation” Charlie brings an authentic love and respect for the music he sings; and with dashes of humor and a light in his eyes, he will draw you into the stories of his songs!

Weaving magical moments of Irish and Scottish history for the listener and viewer, with a passion for the performance Charlie has chosen a repertoire pleasing to all members of the family.

A master of the guitar as well, Charlie is one of the most popular soloists of Celtic, Maritime, and Traditional American music at numerous venues east of the Mississippi including the NH Highland Games at Loon Mountain.

To hear a variety of performances from Charlie check out the videos posted on YouTube (search: Charlie Zahm).
