Your safety and the safety of our volunteers are our number one priority. The following safety precautions have been put in place to ensure Thanksgiving is a healthy one!
Q: How will HUMC ensure no transmission of COVID-19 during food shopping, food preparation, serving into take out containers and delivery curbside?
Facility:
All food will be prepared in the church kitchen. The facility will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized prior to food preparation.
Volunteer Workers:
All kitchen workers and runners will be health screened – temperature check and pass a health questionnaire the day of the event. The volunteers will also wear gloves and face masks.
Menu Change:
No home baked pies this year. Instead, we will prepare and bake apple crisp at the church under controlled kitchen environment.
Curbside Pickup:
All meals will be packaged in TO-GO containers and picked up in the parking lot. There will be no need for you to leave your car.
Customers will text or call the designated number to let us know you are in the parking lot and ready to pick up your meals.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call the church office (603) 926-2702.
