United Methodist Women

Proudly Celebrating 150+ Years of Mission Service

The organized unit of the United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of missions through participation in the Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church.

The Hampton United Methodist Women (UMW) meets monthly on the 2nd Wednesday from September-June.  Each month there is an educational program, along with a business meeting and refreshments.  This group has fun while supporting many, many mission-focused projects through the year.

United Methodist Women also have an Afternoon Circle Group that meets on the 4th  Monday of the month (3rd Monday in May)      1:00 pm- 3:00 pm.  There are no meetings in June, July, August or December.

Bingo is held at Oceanside Nursing Home on the 4th Wednesday each month year around.  It is held from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.  UMW provides the prizes along with some volunteers to help the residents in seeing, hearing, or understanding the numbers called.  It’s a fun time, and volunteers are always welcome!

Craft Sessions (1:00 pm – 3:00 pm), led by Chris Gies, are held in the Fireside Room. These sessions are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month March through November.  Many hands working together make for a fun time and beautiful creations!   ALL ARE WELCOME & SO ARE IDEAS.
